Job description:
Junior accountant is responsible for a combination of specific accounting tasks such as supervising timesheet submissions for consultants, high-level and administrative expense assignments and processing administrative and financial data. He or she also ensures work is in compliance with the company’s, country and office specific accounting regulations and policies. Analytical support, problem solving and data interpretation are also a part of a Junior Accountant’s daily work.
Requirements:
- professional education in the field of Finance or Accounting;
- at least 3 years of professional experience in the area of general accounting;
- knowledge of Polish accounting principles and tax regulations (VAT, CIT);
- fluent English (C1 – CEFR or equivalent);
- solid MS Office skills (Excel and Word);
- flexibility;
- analytical thinking and good problem solving skills;
- accuracy and attention to detail combined with ability to see the bigger picture;
- strong drive for results;
- ability to work and stay focused when working with a deadline;
- solid communication skills to tailor messages over the phone and via email;
- ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships and to effectively contribute to a highly collaborative work environment.
