Overview of the role:
An international consulting firm is seeking a French and English speaking Specialist on international law to work in the legal department in reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contractual arrangements. You will be responsible for handling the preparation, review, drafting, and negotiating of commercial contracts under the supervision and guidance of the department’s attorneys and/or individually.
Your responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts such as confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, waiver letters, indemnity agreements;
- Review and assist teams in RFP responses;
- Advise teams on Firm policies and internal compliance procedures;
- Manage a database of contractual arrangements;
- Within the Legal Department, work on projects in support of Firm’s initiatives.
Requirements:
- – Excellent writing and negotiating skills (fluency in French and English is a must);
- – Clear and effective communicating skills;
- – Organizational skills and judgement;
- – Ability to work well under pressure;
- – Ability to recognize priorities and manage time effectively;
- – Willingness to be a team player;
- – Law degree or similar legal background.
